Aaron S.

The multi-talented South Jersey based artist is ready to journey into the music ministry as a solo artist. Former leader and founder of 4x-Tiffany Gospel Award winning group In-A-Way, Aaron S. is set to independently release his debut solo CD "Working on me".

Originally from Newark, NJ, Aaron S. wrote, arranged and produced 2 CD's with In-A-Way and toured nationally for 2 years. Aaron S. started playing piano at 12 years old and has played in church for many years. He holds a degree in Music Education from Essex County College in Newark, NJ. Aaron S. had a call on his life to be in music ministry even before he began playing music. His passion took him to college where he was Music Director for various musical productions.

Aaron S. toured extensively with In-A-Way and opened for Dorinda Clark Cole, Kiki Sheard, John P. Kee, Deitrick Haddon, J. Moss and shared the stage with many other blessed and renowned artists. As with many groups, In-A-Way came to a crossroads where it was near impossible to continue on. In-A-Way's tour ended and so did the ministry.

In 2011, the Lord began to stir up the gift and calling in Aaron S. He explained, "I was at a place where I was okay with my new life. I was a Worship Leader at church, had a day job, my own place and my bills were paid, but the Lord kept telling me that He's not done with me. He would give me songs to write and I would just write them and save them. Then He re-ignited that fire in me and desire to give to others what He put in me."

The title track off of the new CD, appropriately titled, "Working on me" is a compilation of contemporary gospel songs that minister to the situations and needs of people in a practical way. Aaron S. believe's that his music will uplift, edify and give glory to God.
