ABADDEN from Dunstable, are a thrash band signed to Rising Records and are ready to thrash you back to the 1980's but keep it fresh with the sound of today.

Starting there musical Journey by playing for their mates in the Winston Churchill in Dunstable (RIP) many moons ago ABADDEN have progressed from the orginal line up supporting such local bands as Versus Akira, Blackhole and Lower Than Atlantis to now sharing stages with Signed acts such as Trigger The Bloodshed, Sworn Amongst and Nebukadnezza.

This band has come from Strength to Strength playing sellout shows in Luton town and putting everything into live performances and promotion, ABADDEN most certainly is not the 'band' they once were after taking 3 months out during the summer of 2008, They came back releasing an ep recorded at Stakeout Studios and tore up the local areas and were ready to take on the rest of the UK.
After receiving a great live review from Steve Beebee, KERRANG! Only great things could continue...

And they have In June 2009 ABADDEN won a competition run by Rising Records and Metalhammer offering them the chance to record an album with Producer Mark Daghorn (Cradle of Filth, Mendeed, Trigger The Bloodshed) and have released debut album 'Sentenced To Death' on Rising Records after signing a one album deal with the label.

'Sentenced To Death' has been tearing up the ears of the industry and within the first month received nothing but critically aclaimed reviews from the Uk and European press being compared to as the 'next big thing' in the UK Thrash scene.
