Abbie Mota is a singer // songwriter // recording artist that is located in Edmonton, AB Canada.
Her start in the music industry began when she performed for the Kiwanis Festival held in Edmonton at an early age.
Abbie started her music lessons with Edmonton Music Studio. Unfortunately the Edmonton Music Studio closed their doors, which left Abbie in search of a new place to grow musically – leading her to Jessy Mossop currently her teacher at Visionary Center for the Performing Arts.
In 2015, she made it to the finals in St Albert Idol. Entered at her next event at Futures Fest a competition held by Visionary Center for the Performing Arts, Abbie won the title for Junior Artist. This led her to her first professional recording in studio.
2016 she continued to push herself by writing an original song which got her in to the Futures Fest finals. She also made it through to the finals in St Albert Idol. Her year continued as she became a semi-finalist in the Road to Main Stage at the Big Valley Jamboree located in Camrose, AB.
Abbie volunteers by participating in local charity and community events throughout the province. She has also had the opportunity to perform at various establishments in her local city.
Abbie continues to record in studio music videos and write music.
