"Abby Holden's HOT track 'Strange Affection'"

Abby Holden is back after a debut album and 2 New York tours – with her new single ‘Strange Affection’. Some may say this RnB groove is a step away from her Indie roots, when in fact it is Abby showing her versatility while maintaining the vocal style that Abby is recognized for. A regional radio tour sees this track hitting play lists from London to Manchester, with stations changing between the RnB mix and the upbeat club remix by the infamous ‘sikb0yz’.

You’ll have to wait for the second album to drop to hear the original version of 'Strange Affection', but for now here's a snippet of the smooth as silk RnB version;

Bio

From a rural upbringing in Tamahere, New Zealand up-and-coming singer/songwriter Abby Holden’s brand of catchy self-penned kiwi pop replete with frank lyricism is fast gaining her a fan-base on the vibrant London music scene.

At college Abby formed the band “Skyla”, which gained popularity and performed on TV with the song “Day by Day” and received radio airplay in NZ and Sydney, Australia with “Believe in Me”.

Since moving to London Abby has continued to hone the craft of songwriting - “Wrong Tonight” and “Believe in Me” went through to the finals of the UK Songwriting Competition 2011, and the track 'Strange Affection' made it to the finals of the American Songwriting Competition 2013.

Abby is now receiving radio play in London from independent stations and has been on two successful New York tours that included dates at cult venues The Bitter End and Café Vivaldi in New York.

The ridiculous 'Ginger Pubes are Amazing' has found it's way into high school classrooms in Australia....unintentionally - but it seems to entertain the students.
