Aberrant

In the beginning...
In March of 2000, the five members of Chicago
based band ABERRANT came together to create
hard rock with a distinct radio-ready feel. As the
band begin playing live they immediately drew
comparisons to Fuel, Staind, Velvet Revolver and
fellow Chicagoans, Disturbed. A steady schedule
soon had the band headlining such notable
venues as The Double Door, The Hard Rock Cafe
and The Abbey. However, in true "Aberrant"
fashion, the band decided to relocate to
Dallas, Texas in October of 2004 to begin anew.

The Present...
2004 saw a relocation, member change and the
addition of a new lead guitarist. The band is
cemented by frontman Greg Scott; a former solo
artist known for his ability to write infectious
lyrics. Chris Vitale and Ray Torre provide a duel
guitar attack that rivals the strength of a hurricane.
In addition, they also provide the critical vocal harmonies
for which the band has become known. Bill
Larimore and Scott Mueller are the rhythm
section that gives ABERRANT their "groove" and
backbone. 2005 saw the band secure full artist
representation through Strong Arm Entertainment
and the release of their third full length CD, A
Prayer of Loss. The band has been embraced by
such Dallas/ Ft. Worth venues as the Hard Rock
Cafe, The Ridglea, Galaxy Club and the Curtain
Club. Locally the band has shared the stage with
favorites Hollow, Downlo, System Overload Elocation
and Exit 380. Nationally, the band has opened
for the likes of Adema and Five Bolt Main.
They are currently playing locally/regionally in
both the north Texas and midwest Illinois markets.

2006 looks to be a promising year for the band.
