Bio
Abigail Rose is a young singer/songwriter who grew up in Nashville, TN. She got her first guitar for her 11th birthday and hasn’t stopped writing music since. She already has hundreds of songs in her catalog! Not only can she play guitar, she has now taken on mandolin and piano. She tries to co-write as much as possible and has an impressive selection of songs written with amazing songwriters.
She plays songwriting rounds at local venues in Nashville and around the South. She has opened for Chris Cavanaugh; The Dirt Drifters; Sara Evans (June 2012); Whiskey Myers; Florida Georgia Line, Josh Thompson and Joe Nichols (September 2012); and Josh Kelley (September 2012). This summer, she played three shows at the 2012 CMA Fest and played twice at Joe's Bar on Weed St. in Chicago, Il.
She is in the process of defining her sound as an artist, which is somewhere in between modern country and Americana!
She is busy recording guitar vocals with Matt McClure, but she has so much new material, that not all of her songs are recorded.
