Ablespacer is a committed band inspired by original independant music with no great restrictions in style, however could be pigeon holed "if one likes to do that" to alternative indie rock. The music is energetic, dynamic and the response has been exciting so far . . . .

Ablespacer formed in 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Well no ... this refers to the line up changes and false starts that the band have experienced due to commitment levels and artistic tantrums with takamines jetting across rooms and plain old bad timing.
The band have been around for around 6 years now under different guises and influences include the likes of Sonic Youth, Radiohead, My Bloody Valentine, Husker Du, The Pixies, Therapy?, Deus, Dinosaur Jr, The Cure, Jeff Buckley, The Posies, and already too many are mentioned so visit the myspace page for a more extensive list.

We're a three piece band that likes to make a lot of noise, a wall of sound as such with what resources we have. Our sound can range from crunchy garage rock to a delayed Shoegazer style to an all out noise fest.

Our shows are energetic and concentrated and the reaction has always been anxiously positive and appreciative in the climate of todays sometimes diluted and generic music.

Recenty Ablespacer has been up and running after a short hiatus with a new drummer and are busy working. Hoping to record next month with a little luck and to release perhaps an EP with a local label who have shown interest because of recent shows.
