Bio
As a lyricist my musical influences range from R&B, to Gospel and Pop. Began writing lyrics and also
collaborating on projects roughly 2 years ago.
Recently entered the Billboard Song Contest. We entered a total of 6 songs in the contest. Three in the Gospel category and three in the R&B category. Each song wound up being ranked among the top 1500 songs in their respective catagory.
Gods Living Water wound up #551/1500, and received an overall quality ranking of 6/10 in Gospel.
My Fathers Eyes wound up #553/1500, and received an overall ranking of 7/10 in Gospel.
Heart & Soul" wound up #552/1500, and received an overall ranking of 7/10 in Gospel.
Keeping It Real" wound up #539/1500, and received an overall ranking of 6/10 in R&B.
Got To Be Strong wound up #540/1500, and received an overall ranking of 6/10 in R&B
Family Man wound up #541/1500, and received an overall ranking of 6/10 in R&B.
We received "Honorable Mention" certficates for
Heart & Soul, Family Man, & "Got To Be Strong.
On the American Idol Underground front three out of four of our songs were ranked in the top 50 charts in the respective catagories. As of the week ending May 26th:
"Illusions Web" was #6 on the R&B Charts
"Through It All" was # 40 on the Gospel Charts
"Family Man" was #23 on the R&B Charts
I have also entered some song contest this year. .
For the "Song of The Year Contest," for December 2006 I received an "Honorable Mention" for the song lyrics "Hidden Thoughts."
From the Paramount Song Group contest I received the "Director's Ribbon Award" for the song lyrics "You Lifted Me Up."
AB Productions will be one of 7 artists selected to be a part of the Reflections Management Company and Upper Room 3 Productions compilation "Care Packages for Our Troops". This project is to help raise money for Operation Door to Door, which provides care packages to the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. The song "Through It All" as sung by
Eric Jordan will be featured on the CD.
