Absence of the Sun

Absence of the Sun started in winter of 05' and has since undergone several line-up changes. A set line-up of hardworking musicians formulated in the fall of 07', thus spawning creation of the band's first record "A Symphony of Unheard Words".Which was self released by the band in March of 08, and then Re-Issued through Hold True Recordings, a Bolton, MA based New England metal label, In the Spring of 09.
After numerous U.S tours and a countless number of weekend warrior tours and shows throughout 08 and 09 , the band decided to yet again enter the studio in early 2010. To record with Ken Susi of "Unearth". The newest material from AOTS will promise to deliver a sound of unwavering melodic metal that will surely appeal to fans of All That Remains, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Iron Maiden, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, and Wintersun.
The band's live performance is fueled by absolute energy and an intensity that bursts from deep within the soul. And is sure to connect with MUSIC fans from all walks of life.
