Missed the first band. Shit. I have to stop doing that. I try to make it, I swear. Anyway, I heard good things about the first band. Someone said they sound like blink-182 meets Pennywise. Sounds weird to me too, but whatever; I could be wrong, I wasn’t there. They’re called Absence of Thought and I went through the trouble to find their myspace, so check out, Absence of Thought here and make your own decision. I did make it as their last song was ending and as they were exiting the stage the venue began playing the first half of The Offspring’s Americana, which ruled!
