Bio
Absent F is the result of the collaboration between two Barcelonan musicians hiding behind
smiley masks. One of the two is a young producer of electro music; the other is a DJ with lots
of experience of playing clubs in Barcelona and throughout the world. Together, as Absent F,
they are an explosive live act.
Their show, decks, guitars and FXs is halfway between a DJ session and a live set with
guitar, synthesisers, samplers etc... The result is an explosion of sound which is surprisingly
effective and which makes everyone stand up and take notice. With a carefully considered
repertoire that includes both their own material and that of other musicians Absent Fs set is a
surprising cocktail of dance floor fillers.
As explosive as Justice and as fun as Simian Mobile Disco but with an added appeal: their
unique sound that stems from a mix of styles. Absent F is electro and techno but its also disco
and rock. They have now performed in various clubs in Barcelona and around Europe
alongside artists like Oliver Huntemann, Radio Slave, Alexander Kowalski, Ángel Molina and
Poni Hoax. They made thousands of people dance during the last BAM festival and they are
already well known in Paris where they amazed patrons of the legendary REX Club.
