“Next, while “Gagarin205” (the biggest venue in Athens) was almost packed, Absent Mindead got on stage with a new bass-player in their line-up. The threesome (guitar-bass-drums) presented for about half an hour its composition which sounded mostly like post-punk having Nirvana, Pixies and Placebo as major influences but in a more up-to-date outfit. At their highlights we must mention their excellent attitude on stage and the talented drummer whose playing takes the songs to another level.”

“It’s the second time I see Absent Mindead on stage which only supported my belief that the singer want to be Molko in the place of Molko…I would suggest,instead,for him to work on the production of Molto croissant (local patisserie) because the system does not need another replica. Absent mindead were originaly formed in 2002 in Athens , Greece but didn't stop changing their line-up until March of 2005. Musically their sound ranges from post-punk to alternative rock with a distinct grunge influence. Absent mindead have been chosen by Billboard magazine as one of the 18 finalist bands of the international Diesel U-music 2006(www.diesel-u-music.com) contest among other 8000 candidate bands.
At present, they are recording new material for their upcoming release as well as doing several gigs throughout Athens. Around autumn, after the release progress is over, they are planning to move to London in search of a label.
