5 Song Demo-released in the Fall of 2005

Feeling a bit camera shy

This is the fearless rock and roll. This is the real trip - taking you along for the ride as we dive head first into any and every form and feeling that
catches our ear. Whether it is the cool rhythms of swing, thundering audacity of heavy metal, freaked out eccentricities of psychedelia, hypnotic grooves of Latin jazz or experimental avant-garde, Absinthe Ava leaves no musical stone unturned. It's an adventure in sound - an adventure driven by
the fiery drumming of Scott Olczak (21), the masterful guitar work and mysterious vocals of Al Nikolic (23), and the contrapuntal bass of Aaron
Harrison (25).

Al began his musical journey at age 10, where he started playing in the school band. Since then, he has developed a gluttonous appetite for new
music, always exploring new forms of songwriting to express himself, which eventually led him to attain a college degree in composition. Scott's
pursuit began at age twelve and years of private lessons and university musical training have only served to reinforce what he's known ever since
then: that his true place in the music world is as a drummer for a far out rock and roll band. Aaron came into the fold in late 2004, adding the
much needed bottom end to the catchy melodies of Absinthe Ava.

Since they started playing out in mid 2005, Absinthe Ava has started to develop a devoted following, winning over new fans slowly but surely at each gig. They have been playing all over the Detroit area at classic venues such as the Nu-Way Bar, Paychecks, The Painted lady, The Cadieux Cafe, The Old Miami, the Corktown Tavern, and Jacoby's, the Berkley Front, Mephistos and the Belmont. Absinthe Ava also will have a slot in the 2006 Hamtramck Blowout and will be playing at the Modern Exchange. So far throughout the quest, Absinthe Ava has shared the stage with fellow rock and roll travelers like the Search Party, Sons of the Gun, Coke Dick Motorcycle Awesome, Cowboy
Messiah, the Beggars and the Muggs.
