Fort Wayne, Indiana's own A BURDEN TO BEAR is much like the calm before a nasty storm - captivating audiences with beautiful harmony and melody just to bring them crashing back down to Earth with a display of utter aggression and power. A BURDEN TO BEAR is the product of the hardships and triumphs of five young men who have devoted their life and soul to the music that they create.
In their young career, these talented men have opened for national acts such as "Miss May I", "Escape the Fate", "Like Moths To Flames", "The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus", "Monuments", "Nita Strauss", "Famous Last Words", "Kingdom Of Giants", "Phinehas", and "Nekrogoblikon".
On December 2nd, 2022, A BURDEN TO BEAR released their EP "With Empty Eyes and Hollow Hearts". (Produced by Justin Aufdemkampe of "Miss May I" and "War of Ages".) From the EP, their single, "Forlorn Hope" has managed to amass over 180,000 streams on both Spotify and YouTube respectively since its release; their next single, "Ascension (ft. Spencer Charnas)" has also garnered success for the band in its own right.
A BURDEN TO BEAR seeks to build their legacy from the ground up with a classic, yet refreshing take on the metalcore genre.
