Abud: A Bard is the tangible manifestation of James Abud’s fantastical notions and musical research. This bombastic and exciting One-Man show is founded on original acoustic works grounded in American folk, jazz, and theater music. It features Abud's earthy virtuosity, chummy pathos, and enormous beard. Think Tommy Emmanuel meets Stephen Sondheim meets Jerry Garcia meets Charlie Chaplin.
In addition to the music, “Abud: A Bard” is filled with hilarious and sentimental tales of a life dedicated to music, family, and adventure; being on the road, in the classroom, and the glamorous albeit slightly absurd existence of a lifelong performer.
