Bio
We are a band of friends. The entire band plays actively with many different ensembles across the the state with the absolute hottest and most respected musicians and bands in the area. Through the years, we have all had a tremendous respect for each other and the music we play. We decided to bring it together and make a quality swing band that brings the inspiration of our heros with the fun stylings of modern music. Members of Accidentally Hip have played with Bobby Shew, Louie Bellson, Dave Liebman, The Couriers, Monroe Big Band, II-V-I Orchestra, Paul Keller, Ritmo, and…….
They have also performed at all of the most elite venues. Including the Montreaux Detroit Jazz Festival, The Bird of Paradise, The Firefly, Bakers Keyboard Lounge, Motor City Casino, MGM Casino, Ann Arbor Summer Festival 2010, and many others.
