MC Alei is best known through her friends as a sweet loving and funny person, but upon hearing her music you may not get that impression with her hood swagger and tom-boy attire, she is a force to be reckoned with. Growing up down south in a single parent home, Allei learned to adapt to hardships quickly. Being considered as an at-risk youth, Allei suffered from ADD & Bipolar at the age of 15 she suffered a breakdown and attempted suicide. Despite her troubled past Allei keep pressing forward recording her first song at the age of 16 while getting her demo together word got out to her incarcerated father and the project was shut down, a discouraged and defeated Allei never recorded again. Fast-forward a decade later A divorced mother from an tumultuous marriage with a 7 year old fresh out of Bankruptcy... Homelessness & The Death of her Mother found inspiration from her heartbroken life to believe the dream that I can do all things in Christ with strengthens me to pick up the pen and pad and pick up with her dream that she left so many years ago. With a Fresh Mixtape about to be under her belt and the hopes and dreams of becoming the Best, just like the title of her song "Fly Away" Allei has truly learned what it means to fly!!!
