Atlanta, GA - May 10, 2006 – Sheridan Gospel Network will take its Stellar award-winning afternoon radio show “The Praise Party” hosted by Ace Alexander to Barbados, British West Indies for “The Biggest Praise Party of the Year” live at the Barbados Gospelfest, May 27. "Syndicated Gospel Radio Personality to Raise Diabetes Awareness"

ATLANTA - March 25, 2007 - National gospel radio personality Ace Alexander "the Music Commander" of Sheridan Gospel Network The Light will help raise diabetes awareness Tuesday, March 27 during the 19th annual American Diabetes Alert Day which is a one-day call-to-action for people to find out if they are at risk for diabetes. Alexander who hosts the afternoon Praise Party on SGN Monday through Friday 3-7 p.m. EDT will donate proceeds from ringtone downloads of his radio show theme music to the American Diabetes Association.

On Alert Day, Alexander will give listeners the opportunity to download his popular radio show theme music ringtone to their cell phones to benefit ADA. He will also encourage listeners to take the Diabetes Risk Test to determine if they are one of the 54 million Americans that ADA describes with pre-diabetes, meaning they are at serious risk for developing the disorder. Michael Bond, chairman of the ADA Atlanta Leadership Council, will be Alexander's special guest on the show.

According to ADA, nearly 21 million children and adults in the United States actually have diabetes but, sadly, over 6 million of them are unaware of it. ADA says that 3.2 million African Americans 20 years or older have diabetes and are at a higher risk than any other race or ethnic group of developing the disease in which the body does not produce or properly use insulin. "Members of my family have been greatly affected by diabetes," says Alexander who used to administer insulin shots to his diabetic grandmother everyday. Though his grandmother is now deceased, his grandfather and niece currently live with the disease.

Alexander's radio show ringtone is available for download on his MySpace webpage at www.myspace.com/themusiccommander. Proceeds from his ringtone will benefit ADA through June 27, 2007. Contact Louise Moore at (770) 895-8331 or e-mail Louise@LTLentertainment.com for more information.
