A familiar face to so many, upcoming Chicago rapper Ace da Vinci almost never misses a WordPlay. You’ve seen him in the space, repping SmartMouf, and lately he’s been all over the city, including performances with Verizon and at the Double Door. He recently released an EP, Seven Day High (available on SoundCloud: ), and continues to spread his message and good vibes. YCA sat down with Ace this past Thursday, June 25, to ask about what the SmartMouf way of life really means.

A man that was raised by the Stereo.
Ace da Vinci, the Chi-Town MC & producer, began developing his craft at the age of 16. Since then, he's been building a formidable following, deepening track-listing & domineering presence in his music.
As of 2015, Ace da Vinci's project, #Sevendayhigh, has been well-received throughout Chicago, putting him on IHeartMedia's radio rotation on a weekly basis. He performed in collaboration with Verizon Wireless, New Orlean's Essence Festival and most recently, a music festival in Atlanta adjacent to A3C.
The Windy City Dreamer develops his sound with pure lyricism & unadulterated spirit. Even moreso, his active hand in Chicago's Hip-Hop scene is building and cultivating to a real movement to believe in. As the creator of SmartMouf Ent, da Vinci has solid intentions on establishing a sound in Hip-Hop that is incomparable to most & rivaled by none.
