Ace Kass, originally from the Cabrini Green housing projects in Chicago, IL, made his way onto the music scene while attending college at the University of Iowa. There. he performed in front of sold out audiences all over the state with a group then called The Speakeasy Family. Shortly after Speakeasy's disbandment, Ace struck out on his own to continue his career as a solo artist. He's performed with Chris Capalano, J Dilla, Johnny Locke, Dough-Leezy, Son of Sam, and many more.
