"The Legendary Dickies & The Queers Headline A Night Of Punk Rock @ El Corazon"

“Starting off the whole night was Seattle band Acid Teeth. These guys have only been a band for about a year, but you’d never guess it by watching them. They seemed like seasoned pros, though some members came from other bands, so perhaps this was why. These guys kicked butt. There was a lot of hair on this band and they constantly whipped their hair about. Their lead singer is a Jim Morrison look-alike, but the similarities ended there. There was no brooding poetry in this band, just wild energy of punk and metal and hard core. I was surprised the roof was still standing when their set was over. Acid Teeth are, Gradie Wallen, Todd Ohashi, Jonny Safari & Greg McCormick. Check them out when you get a chance. Another night of punk rock and another couple days of soothing my aching muscles until the next punk rock show.

"Guttermouth, Get Dead, The Cryptics, Head Honcho, Acid Teeth @ Jazzbones Tacoma WA"

Acid Teeth! Local Hard-Core. Intense edged hardcore.
A great band name with a metaphor for BITE.
Kinda sounds like the name for kick ass energy drink.
Acid Teeth are a new band formed in 2015. The are, Gradie Wallen, Todd Ohashi, Jonny Safari, Greg McCormick.
They play lot's of local festivals. They were probably the local band that stood out the most for me. The vocals were much closer to how actual humans sound when they are yelling instead of how demons sound, (lol).
The singer Gradie Wallen roars. They fit the descript of crust (a.k.a. "gutter-punk") and looked the part of hardcore, they had a respectful following in the audience.
They kept a pretty constant tempo and just blasted my face off.
Check out their FB page.

"My Ears are still ringing but I want more"

If you are a lover of speedy, thrashy, pull no punches punk bands like Total Chaos, The Exploited, and G.B.H. then you will find yourself right at home with Acid Teeth.
Combining a dual guitar assault, thick bass and rock solid drumming Acid Teeth carried the show to the next level.
I really enjoyed the elements of their sound that made me think of old school AFI in some areas.
Or like their song "X-Ray Glasses" the opening wail of guitar feedback builds into this rolling bass and drum line that I found reminiscent of songs like "London Dungeon" From the Misfits.

Bio

Acid Teeth is a punk rock quartet from Seattle, Washington formed from the ashes of Northwest punk veterans; Go Like Hell, RC5, and The Triple Sixes. Debuting in August 2015 at Seattle's Chop Suey, Acid Teeth shot out of the gate like a canyon with a relentless schedule of constantly playing on the road promoting the new project.

They quickly hit the studio with engineer Brian Steel at Seven Hills Studios in Seattle WA and recorded a 4 song EP including a cover of Black Flags "My War". Once mastered by Andy Brodigan they took to the road for their first U.S in the winter of 2016. A second tour followed up in Fall 2016 which covered Idaho, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington.

Once back from the road they contacted Brian Nelson at Electric Wall Studios in Seattle WA to start production on the next release.

They signed on with Snatchee Records out of Wenatchee Washington to release a 7" 2 song single which led to the third U.S spring tour which covered Idaho, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

Fall 2017 back on the road still supporting the new release they played 14 shows through the state of California including headlining The Viper Room in West Hollywood.

December 2017 they met up with producer Jeffery M. McNulty at Kill Room Studios in Seattle WA and recorded 3 new tracks for their sophomore release on Snatchee Records.

Spring 2018 back on the road constantly pushing and promoting they clocked in over 4,000 + miles across the states. Upon return they excepted an invitation to play Milwaukee Punk Fest in Wisconsin which led to their 6th U.S tour beginning August which covered Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Winter 2018 the band headed back into the studio in Tacoma WA to record a cover song from the band The Wildhearts which will be featured on a split 7" and released Spring 2019.
