Bio

John Murphy was in a band called Spineapples with front-man Todd Bowie (Happy Space People 2004) in 1998. Then went on to form Sitcom Neighbor in 2005 with Patrick Mitchell on bass & keys.  Meanwhile, Patricks school mate Raymond Hunter was in The Nuclear Labrats fronted by Rays older brother Rich Hunter from 2004-2008 when they disbanded, and started anew as The New Guinea Pigs 2008-2012. Sitcom Neighbor is recording their third album currently.

In anticipation of the Bonnaroo contest where two unsigned bands will be selected to perform on stage, judged in part by curator Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips, we decided to just go for it under our collective neo psychedelia experimental rock project called Acid Orange 7, much like Andy Partridges acid alter-ego LPs as The Dukes of Stratosphear but actually performed live! Even if were not selected our entry fees go to a worthy cause, the Bonnaroo Works Fund.
