"One of the band’s MySpace songs is “California”, a strung-out rocker’s song with Piazza’s hollowed voice and a plethora of guitars backing him as he wails out the title chorus. It’s incredibly catchy, but not pop-catchy, rather a song that instead gets better with multiple listens."
"Add a hint of acid to straight-ahead rock ‘n’ roll and you might get something like Acidwash." - Victoria News-2008

Bio
A small band with big talent Acidwash was formed in the spring of 2004 in Victoria BC. The brainchild of schoolyard chums Colin Piazza and Alex Purves, Acidwash was originally formed as a three-piece with a local drummer, Reuben Ellis. Early stages of the band saw numerous changes in the line-up and songwriting style and approach, but by 2007 it seemed something magical was beginning to take place. Not only had the bands music matured, but with the addition of the young and extremely talented Rob Walsh on the bass, everything seemed to finally fall into place. Having played over 75 shows in and around the Victoria area, the live act is incomparable. A brilliant display of charisma, raw energy, talent and humor, it is truly a spectacle to witness. Now teaming up with engineer/producer, Michael Collinge, and Mastering engineer Jamie Sitar, Acidwash has recorded their debut independent release which will be released in spring of 2008. Jamie Sitar has worked with such artists as Sum 41, The Guess Who, Swollen Members and many other Warner Music Canada Recording artists. Acidwash has been playing shows, networking and fine tuning their sound for four years, Acidwash is a dedicated, hardworking and professional act to watch out for.
