Lyrics

On the Edge

Written By: Charlie Clements/Acoustic

I like walking in the pouring rain
I like livin on the edge of insane
Do all the things that I want to do
Thats the difference between me and you

I wanna be me, I wanna be me, I wanna be free

I like running on a windy day
Let it blow my troubles away
Against the wind with all my might
Makin sure I do it right

I wanna be me, I wanna be me, I wanna be free

I like sittin in a quiet room
listen to the night and I watch the moon
Thinkin about where I've been
and will I ever go there again

I wanna be me, I wanna be me, I wanna be free
I wanna be me, I wanna be me, I wanna be free

Grassy Knole

Written By: Wendy Markey/Acoustic

There She held his hand as the wind did blow
and she laid him down on the Grassy knoll
and the gentle breeze seemed to touch their soul
as the tide went out near the Grassy Knoll

And the world stood still and the time did seace
and the sky of blue showed the world in peace
and they claimed their moment made of gold
as she laid him down on the Grassy knoll

Oh his eyes of blue sparkled in the sun as he held her tight
and they were as one
and the rolling tides seemed a whisper told
as she called his name on the grassy knoll

And the world stood still and the time did seace
and the sky of blue showed the world in peace
and they claimed their moment made of gold
as she laid him down on the Grassy knoll

Set List

our set list changes according to venue, but we alwayse include our origionals.
we love to open our show with lights down, and a big ballad done by Wendy Markey as the lights are brought up.

We do covers, but we usually pick and choose according to venue, we have done a beautiful cover of Mull Of Kintyre, with several key changes, as well as a bluesy Bobby McGee, ans well as a sultry version of Stings fields Of Gold.
we have done gigs that were 15 minutes long, and we have done a two hour show by ourselves...we are versitile.
Our Origional music is rich in harmony and roots, as we love to write about growing up in our beloved Cape Breton
