It may have started out as a bare bones duo, but more recently, the group Acousticah has evolved into a rocking three-piece outfit.
Long-time bandmates Andre Forget (lead vocals and guitar) and Peter Learn (keyboards and vocals) now team with drummer Chris Dardick in this Toronto-based combo.
"We can pretty much do anything," said Forget. "It's really, really defined, clear and consistent. We've trimmed all of the fat off."
These guys cover the bases.
Acousticah has released two CDs to date, while Forget has been recording his own material since 1993. The group starts work on a new CD, next month. What's the sound like?
"Anything harmonic," he adds. "I'm a huge fan of the Beatles."
