We have gotten great comments and feedback from our gigs. Clients appreciate our sensitivity to their requirements and enjoy the variety of tunes that we can play - jazz swing, funk, R&B, pop, ballads, waltzes, polkas, top 40 rock hits, latin.
We have arrangements that have been commissioned specifically for the band - Joni Mitchell and Lighthouse tunes for example - along with arrangements that run the gamut from Glen Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Woody Herman to modern swing/rock from Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and The Phat Band not to mention James Brown, Average White Band, Tower Of Power, Beatles, Chicago and Blood Sweat & Tears, and that's just a few of the well recognized artist names. We can do an evening of jazz swing or an evening of funk/R&B/rock or mix it up all night!
And that's in addition to the original charts written by band members.
Some of the members of the band have been playing for decades in jazz and other genres. Other members have a great rock background.
We are very familiar with the various pressures and requirements of corporate functions and wedding receptions and work closely with the client both prior to and during the engagement to ensure our part of the function fits exactly to what is required.
