"A Cover Story @ BackBooth"

Next up was A Cover Story, a five-piece powerpop band form Orlando, FL. The band's high energy songs are melodic, with catchy lyrics that had the audience singing along with lead vocalist Jonathan Carrillo for the entire set, when they weren't screaming encouragement - or just screaming in general. Carrillo and guitarist Justin Polniak interact playfully with the audience during the show, if only to confirm that everyone's having as great of a time as they are. The group performed a stellar cover of "Umbrella" as well as songs from the band's debut EP 'Watch The Cities', including the title track and the crowd favorite "She's Only 16" - SouthEast Performer Magazine
