Hailing from East Vancouver, AC Power Funktet delivers electrifying funk, pop, jazz and soul! Covering everyone from Jimi Hendrix to Freddie Hubbard, this funk juggernaut will keep the dance floor grooving and the crowds singing along. A fun mix of 70s soul, MTV pop, and all sorts of other syncopated goodness - balancing serious studies of groove/jazz standards, crowd-pleasing classics from James Brown and Funkadelic, and original "tongue in cheek" funk arrangements of 80's pop tunes.
