A Crucifying Feeling

The band '' A Crucifying Feeling '' began in the spring of 2004 by singer/songwriter Paris Kalamaras, who had a passion and desire to make music ever since he was 15 years old. He was born in Voorhees Township, NJ and grew up in Philadelphia, PA. In 1992 when Paris just turned 10, his parents decided to move to Europe and to Athens, Greece. It was there where he discovered his talent in music and lyricism by falling in love with greek literature and poetry. He recorded his first songs in the fall of 1997 using a tape player and a small keyboard. His influences that meant the most were '' Metallica '' which introduced him to the world of Rock music and '' Nirvana '' where with that group he got inspired the most with their music and the genius of '' Kurt Cobain ''. He decided to move back to the U.S. as soon as he would finish high school, and so he did in the summer of 2002.
