Act of Congress blew me away with their stage presence. Adam, Brad and Chris are amazing musicians and all very in tune with each other while playing. They have a great Bluegrass/Nickel Creek feel to them and are very creative in the music they make. Their music is very relaxing yet catchy at the same time. Talent radiates from these guys both individually and as a group.

Act of Congress expands the boundaries of acoustic music with an innovative style rooted in bluegrass, jazz, and rock. The trio is made up of Adam Wright (mandolin/guitar/vocals), Brad McConnell (guitar/bass/vocals), and Chris Griffin (guitar, dobro). With experience playing some of the best venues and festivals in the Southeast, including Workplay, Moonlight Music Cafe, and House of Brews, this group combines engaging stage presence with quality musicianship to create toe-tapping jams and contagious sing-alongs. Listeners are quickly discovering why these guys have so much fun when they play. The wide scope of influences and ideas lead Act of Congress into new territory. They take acoustic music to another level, and their audiences continue to enjoy the journey.
