Lyrics

Rabbit

Written By: Andy Morgan / Alec Ragsdale

Pen stains won’t offer an escape
Inject, with ignorance and faith
I spin the world on my tongue
It’s too light to ever see the stars
Blinds closed, they might as well be bars
Close your eyes, and run
Won’t you fix my sight
(too blind to see)
And maybe I can breathe
Dress me up but still
I’m breaking mirrors at the scene
‘Till every brick will shed
(tear them down)
I won’t believe in hope
‘Cause I burned all the paths
That swore to lead me home
Step back, step back and look in vain
The glass, that tells me who’s to blame
It’s honest, isn’t it
I trace the walls of my escape
Let down, reluctant to the fame
I never learned how to wait
Won’t you fix my sight
(too blind to see)
And maybe I can breathe
Dress me up but still
I’m breaking mirrors at the scene
‘Till every brick will shed
(tear them down)
I won’t believe in hope
‘Cause I burned all the paths
That swore to lead me home
Home is not a question of disguises
Home is not a question of disguises
Home is not a question of disguises
Home is not a question of disguises
Black cars, hidden souls
That we all, think are ghosts
Wake up, wake up
So that the wounded can sleep
Let go of hatred
Fate is overrated
I’ll make a sound I’ll make a sound
I’ll get out

Last Breath

Written By: Andy Morgan / Alec Ragsdale

I’m so sick
Weary of being your fix
This prologue alone
Has lost it’s innocence
I’ll wait up all night
If I have to
Well I know you do
We move so close together
Until I make up my mind
But I wont send this letter
I won’t keep the past behind
Forget me
We are the last wish you speak
I’ll be your lie, I’ll be your mistake
I’ll be the worst decision you make
I’ll be your ghost I’ll disappear
I’ll hold you close as I’ve been your fear
I’ll be your vow the one that you break
I’ll be the last damn breath that you take
If I survive while I’m your disease
I’ll become more than what I used to be
We all wept
Now take this final step
I’ll break you down with every single breath
My convictions are worthless
But I won’t keep this
From you
I’ll keep you entertained
(I’ll keep you entertained)
Disregard my claim to fame but
I know you won’t stay the same
Forget me
We are the last wish you speak
I’ll be your lie, I’ll be your mistake
I’ll be the worst decision you make
I’ll be your ghost I’ll disappear
I’ll hold you close as I’ve been your fear
I’ll be your vow the one that you break
I’ll be the last damn breath that you take
If I survive while I’m your disease
I’ll become more than what I used to be

Sic 'Em, Boys!

Written By: Andy Morgan / Alec Ragsdale

Clipping all the strings
That held me tight by my
Mannequin wings
Don’t let it get under your skin
Maybe wrap your hands around him
(They say it’s terrible)
Shake the devil from my veins
(And never let it go)
It’s better living like this
(It’s better living like this)
It’s better living like this

Waking up to, waking up to
The blinding lights
You know they want you, know they want you
The mothers cried
Bleed from me take the dreams
And make them right
I’ll crumble myself before
I ever let them decide

It’s sickening at best
I said “remember what they said”
You’ll be dreading from the start
Those hands you wrapped around my neck
Come show me what I’ve done
Summoned evil from my tongue
Raise the flag
(We’ll all look up)
Salute and smile

Waking up to, waking up to
The blinding lights
You know they want you, know they want you
The mothers cried
Bleed from me take the dreams
And make them right
I’ll crumble myself before
I ever let them decide

All the signs, I don’t wish to see them
Sir, can you please tell me why
Seems to me the only that I can be
They’re coming back, they’re coming

Waking up to, waking up to
The blinding lights
You know they want you, know they want you
The mothers cried
Bleed from me take the dreams
And make them right
I’ll crumble myself before
I ever let them decide

December Thieves

Written By: Andy Morgan / Alec Ragsdale

You left me with a smile
I’m well upon my way
Of getting past the stars
With the lights that you made

I promise in the end
We won’t have to run
I’ll burn into your palms
You can hold me like the sun

I see you all the time
My step is cursed with colors signed
I’ll breathe you in and out
Relapse I’m so ashamed
I said remember me
Add this to all I’ve done
You’ll still remain the only one

You left me out of place
And begging for the time
When we can recreate
The life we had in mind

So make me understand
While my hearts upon my sleeve
I wished the cars would crash
So I would never have to leave

I see you all the time
My step is cursed with colors signed
I’ll breathe you in and out
Relapse I’m so ashamed
I said remember me
Add this to all I’ve done
You’ll still remain the only one

So now that I’m alone
You still won’t ever know
It’s easy to refrain
I’m selfish, you’re afraid
I won’t forget, we won’t forget I’m singing
come back home

So come back down
And breathe
We’re running out of time
Changing all the wrongs
Into rights

I promise I’ll be good
You know, like I should
It’s easy on the outside
Isn’t it?

Shine

Written By: Andy Morgan / Alec Ragsdale

Trade the light for hope
Well I’m what gold is
Oversold
I think I’ll change my name
Find another cause
And take the blame
(just watch me)

We’re perfect don’t you know
Just watch our halos glow
Let’s make mistakes before we’re down and out
We’re holding deadly lights
Throw them up and let them shine
Well all to my surprise
It’s beautiful in my eyes

Wait a minute just hold the line
I’ve got to stay it’s only right
I’m coming up on faith
You can meet me halfway
All our songs they tried to rewrite
Breathe the colors in
Don’t let them bleed outright the pores of your skin
I’ll make sure that I’m damn well tame
So you and you will know my name

We’re perfect don’t you know
Just watch our halos glow
Let’s make mistakes before we’re down and out
We’re holding deadly lights
Throw up and let them shine
Well all to my surprise
It’s beautiful in my eyes
Beautiful in my eyes

Tonight is a promise
Of broken empty bottles
I don’t need to be honest
If they’re the ones with problems
I’m feeling something breaking
I’m burning through the faces
This world’s ours for the taking
We will never be wasted
Tonight is a promise
Tonight is a promise
Get ready to settle the score

We’re perfect don’t you know
Just watch our halos glow
Let’s make mistakes before we’re down and out
We’re holding deadly lights
Throw up and let them shine
Well all to my surprise
It’s beautiful in my eyes
