The AKB brings a unique and improvisational sound to it's original and cover music that blends influences of 90's alternative and jam artists, 70's classic rock bands, trop rock, jazz, reggae, and folk music. Adam Kiraly, lead vocalist, is the classically-trained driving force of the band, an inspired singer/songwriter who also plays acoustic guitar and percussion. Charlie Hampton is a top notch jazz artist who brings a smoking hot improv saxophone to the stage. Charlie plays tenor, alto and soprano sax as well as piano and flute. Dan Lowe is a tasteful percussionist with three decades of experience touring the East Coast with his former reggae band. He plays all forms of percussion. Together, the three create a colorful soundscape journey full of richness and texture.
