Bio

ADAMANTIUM was founded by guitarist Sean Littlejohn and vocalist/keyboardist Roxanne Rodriguez in 2007,when he was a senior and she was freshman at Carver High School. Although the two were years apart and likely never would've interacted otherwise, one day Sean heard Roxanne singing acepella in the courtyard and was instantly hooked. They wrote their first song together within days and learned some acoustic Evanesence and Nirvana covers as well.

At first,it was meant to be just a fun project between two friends, but the more time the pair spent together, the more music they made. After well over a year of jamming as a duo, they brought classmates Alejandro Reyes and Keenen Martin in on lead guitar and bass, respectively. A short while after, they brought in friend and prolific multi-instrumentalist Ricky Vasquez on drums. He played with the group for a bout six months before departing on good terms to pursue his own music. After a period of searching, the foursome brought in Irving Lira to complete the current line up of ADAMANTIUM.

The band played their first show at the legendary Fitzgerlads in The Heights, and has not stopped since. They have played almost every major music venue in Houston and surrounding areas, been featured on their local Clear Channel radio station 94.5 The Buzz, and won several city wide Battle of the Bands. They have recorded two demos,a full length album(The Sound of a Soul Pouring Out,available on itunes),and two studio music videos, almost exclusively at Digital Services Studios(Destiny's Child,Tim Mcgraw,Chamillionare,Z-Ro) in Tomball,Texas.

The band is represented by publicist Suzanne Penley of PMG(Lamb of God,Motorhead,Trivium,Five Finger Death Punch,Eric Tessemer) and has recently shared the stage with some of today's most established and up and coming female fronted bands like KITTIE,OTEP,and The Agonist.

Collectively, ADAMANTIUM list's it's influences across a wide range of genres, from Alicia Keys to Killswitch Engage,Mana to Tool,Alter Bridge to John Mayer,etc..

The band is currently recording their next demo,Sinew&Spirit, as well as working on new music for a new full length album, and working with PMG and Kevin Lyman on a potential spot on 2013's Wapred Tour.
