Adam Ashley & The Gunslingers formed in late 2007 when Adam & drummer Donovan began playing local shows with Adam's sister Amanda on keyboard. When Amanda left due to work related issues, Adam & Donovan began seeking other musicians to jam with. Soon guitarist Jodey Salazar and bassist Zack Khoury joined the band and AA&TG began touring the U.S.
AA&TG recently welcomed new bassist Willy Mack to the band.
From the beginning we wanted to write music that made us happy. As they say "write what you know", which is why the album "Women, Money & Booze” was written. We’re definitely a “live” band, connecting with our audience is the most important thing to us. The bigger the crowd, the crazier it usually gets. We recently opened for country star Josh Gracin which was very exciting for us. The crowd was amazingly responsive, with 1000+ people there we had a lot of fun. We have played everywhere from Amarillo to Chicago and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. We are already writing for our next album which will be released sometime in early to mid 2009. Keep an eye on us…….
