Bio
Just Enough To Hurt, the latest CD from singer /songwriter Adam Baker, certainly tells a little of Adam's career story. First of all, it includes a new recording of "In Love With Her", which broke the Billboard Top Forty for Baker in the Late 80's. It closes with the bluesy "Just Enough To Hurt", which says alot about the success Baker has enjoyed through the years, and highlights the wide variance in Baker's writing and musical styles. Nominated for Top Ten New Male Vocalist of the Year (ACM) in 1987, he was also a performer on the annual "New Faces" show in Nashville, TN. While enjoying the success he has attained as an independent artist, he continues to write and perform at a major label level. He has performed with some of country music's biggest acts, including The Judds, Charlie Daniels, David Allen Coe, and Earl Thomas Conley, to name only a few. A seasoned rythym guitarist in the studio and on stage, Adam is an avid player of TAYLOR guitars. Listen to Adam Baker's music. You'll hear an artist who has "paid his dues", and ranks among the best indy artists in the country!
