Bio

Adam Eckersley has been performing and drawing crowds for 11 years, including 6 years of national touring as frontman of renowned band Bluezone. His many awards and recent appearances on Australian Idol in the top 24 have raised his profile not just at a local level but nationally as evidenced by coverage on Adam
specificially in Womans Day, The Sunday Telegraph, Who Magazine, Famous Magazine and TV Week

Prior to this exposure, Adam was already attracting huge crowds at venues across NSW . His awards as Best Male Vocalist in both the Australasian Blues Music Awards and the Bluestar Awards, combined with his
selection as Official Ambassador for the Goulburn Blues Music Festival in 2008 plus Blues and Roots Song of The Year at the Newcastle ABC Music Awards are testimony to his outstanding talent as guitarist and
vocalist as well as his ability to engage a crowd and keep them coming back for more. Add to that his
endorsement by both Fender Australia and Lee Oskar Harmonicas and you can understand why the crowds love his performances!

Adam’s tours have included performances at many festivals throughout Australia including Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival, NSW, Darling Harbour Jazz Festival NSW, (which included interviews and a live cross with Adam’s band on Channel 7) Bridgetown Blues Festival WA, Broadbeach Blues Festival QLD and the Australian Blues Festival NSW. He has performed with some of Australia’s best including Phil Emmanuel,
Mal Eastick, Phil Manning (Chain), Matt Taylor (Chain), Kevin Borich, Izzy Ismanovich (Screaming Jets) and recently supported The McClymonts

Adam has also played the ‘covers’ scene throughout this period, playing at most of Newcastle’s live music venues such as The Brewery, MJ Finnigans, the Delany, the Premier and more, plus many venues in and around Tamworth.
