Biography

Being born and raised in a diverse city such as New York, only gives good reason as to why the music of Adam Falcon is just as diverse. Adam, one of the most colorful and emotionally filled guitarist, singer-songwriters around, now steps from a supporting role to a leading one.

Working as an experienced session and touring musician has granted Adam a wealth of opportunity. Whether it was being on tour with Phyllis Hyman, Will Downing, Jonathan Butler, Sophie B. Hawkins, or the great Roberta Flack or perhaps in the studio along side Digable Planets, George Benson, or Arif Mardin, Adam states, "It was just like being in a musical goldmine."

One of Adam Falcon's brightest moments as a songwriter occurred when his mentor and idol, George Benson, chose to record a composition of his. Produced by the legendary Arif Mardin, the song "In Search of a Dream" was included on the million selling record "In Your Eyes." Years later, having lightning strike twice, producer Tommy LiPuma used yet another composition from the pen of Adam Falcon. This time the song entitled "True Blue" from the album "That's Right." Once again, the artist being, none other than George Benson.

Adam Falcon's R&B, Jazz-tinged, Alternative Soul is a fresh new blend, which allows us to hear music in a whole new light.

Lyrics

"October Falls"

Written By: Adam Falcon

I'm gonna rise up singin', gonna kiss the day hello
Open up my heart, feel the cool winds blow
Gentle breeze blowin', it calls my love by name
Gentle breeze a blowin' hear it whispering your name
Gonna reach to the heavens, touch upon your golden love
Embrace all the secrets your passion speak of
Then as a prayer, I'll hear your voice and echo the call
You'll take me to the place, the season of love...
October Falls

We're gonna dance come midnight and catch the harvest moon
Wish upon the stars and with love give them to you
We'll set the night to music, our love will sing its song
Set the night to music, let love bring in the dawn
With the love of an angel, gonna find the promise land
Taste her kiss of desire, bestowed upon the man
Then as a prayer, I'll hear your voice and echo the call
You'll take me to the place, the season of love, season of love, the season of love...
October Falls

"The Waves"

Written By: Adam Falcon

Babychild as a man
the voyage you command
it's time for you to set sail

A journey you're to find
and there to come a time
when you're to be on your own

Let the waves rush in, carry you away
Let the waves rush in, carry you away

A mother to her only son
said one day you'll become
all the thing's that love needs you to be

And on her words he realized
that time had come to say goodbye
'cause love had come to set her free

So let the waves rush in, carry you away
Let the waves rush in, carry you away

Gonna let the cool, cool waters roll over me
wash away everything I feel

Start all over, baptize my soul
for the birth of a new day dawning

Ocean child castle of sand
wooden ships to far off lands
filled with all your golden dreams

So let the waves rush in, carry you away
Let the waves rush in, carry you away
