New country name Adam James uofficially launches his debut album, "Messages & Memories", at two shows at the Semaphore Music Festival in South Australia this weekend with rsinger/songwriter, Glenn Skuthorpe. The album was produced by Stuie French (Feral Swing Katz) and featuring country names as Mick Albeck, Michel Rose, Tim Wedde, Brad Burgen, Geoff Simpson, Camille Te Nahu and The Flood's Kevin Bennett.

Bio

Adam James and Band are a country music trio heavily influenced by a blues/acoustic/rock/country/roots music. Recently Adam James released his debut album 'Messages & Memories' and is currently recieving national airplay for his single 'Many Who Pretend'. Collectively, the band worships some of Australia's greatest singer songwriters and attempts to recreate their own interpretation of songs from the likes of John Williamson, Shane Howard, Kevin Bennett, Troy Cassar-Daley and Ian Moss. The trio is also influenced with the likes of Eric Clapton, JJ Cale, John Lee Hooker and John Prine. Together, Adam James and band have a wealth of musical experience gathered from years of experience working with some of music's greats including Venetta Fields, John Swan, Kevin Bennett, The Flood, Stuie French and Glen Skuthorpe just to name a few. Two of the band members are graduates from higher education in the arts and all three are working part-time as musicians/singers/songwriters. Adam James is continually building a national fan base with appearances at Woodford folk festival 06/07, Tamworth Country Music Festival 07, The Dreaming Festival 07, Woodford Folk Festival 07/08, Tamworth Country Music Festival 08, QUT Urban Country Music Festival 08 and The Dreaming 08.
