ADAM MARSHALL

Oregon native, U.S. Marine and new country artist, Adam Marshall knows about life’s highs and lows. Just a short year ago, he was fighting for our country over in Iraq, but his story begins long before that. Following in his grandfathers footsteps, Adam joined the Marines in 1999. Shortly before being sent to war, Adam had the opportunity to meet his country idol, Brad Paisley. While in Iraq during long sleepless nights, Adam reflected on Paisleys kindness, compassion and encouragement, so inspired that he decided to pursue his longtime dream. Though conditions were grueling, he scribbled notes and ideas on scraps of paper and focused on his job at hand, to proudly serve our country. Upon Adam’s homecoming, he carefully spread out every scrap paper and set about to write his songs.

Just a few months later after the release of his debut single, “Come Home as Fast as You Can” and with the support of friends, family, Marine Parents United and a special select group who call themselves “The Marshall’s Deputies”. Adam was back in the studio to record the full album, The Last Marshall, comprised of nine songs. These days Marshall is enjoying some of life’s high points, supporters have been phenomenal and have helped Adam gain opportunities to open for country stars such as Jeff Bates, Gary Allan, Anita Cochren, Doug Stone and even sing for the solider send off this May with President Bush scheduled for attendance.
