Bio
The Blue Scare is a band that started out as "The Rescue". The band formed a year ago by jamming and eventually decided to take the music more seriously. The Blue scare then started doing shows to donate money to charity and donated roughly 800 dollars to various charities in the first 3 months as a band. The Blue Scare has played many shows around the Oklahoma City region and is always looking to play as many shows as possible. Influences range from alternative to grunge. Specific bands such as Bloc Party, Wolf Parade, The Flaming Lips, and even Nirvana are direct influences. The Blue Scare is different from many bands based on song approach. Most Blue Scare songs are made of a mixture of primitive song techniques and new age ideas. However The Blue Scare does not specifically go out of way to have a "gimmick". The Blue Scare play music that the members of the band enjoy. The music is an extension of the things the band members love and believe. The Blue Scare is a two man group that does not comprimise any musical idea based on the number of members in the band.
