Bio

I have been writing, recording and producing music in a range of genres since the age of 14. Now 20, I write and record for my solo pop punk project 'Hour Of Now' (www.myspace.com/hourofnow) and solo electro/house project 'Addie Jay' (www.myspace.com/addiejay).

I have recently been commissioned by the BBC to produce a soundtrack for one of their new shows.

I am also song-writer, vocalist, producer and keyboardist in my rock band '...And The Magical 8-Ball Band' - we have played at a range of venues and events including a headline set at the Bournemouth BIC, Southampton University, Bournemouth Square and the Great Dorset Steam Fair supporting the Bootleg Beatles.

One of my 'Addie Jay' tracks was featured as 'Demo Of The Month' in FutureMusic magazine, January 2008, 'Hot Pick' in FutureMusic January 2009, and reviewed in Computer Music Magazine, May 2008.

As lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, producer and song-writer in the now defunct indie-rock band 'Undercurrent', we played at many venues and events including Bournemouth Square, Poole Lighthouse, Dorset Sound Festival, and Leicester Square, as well as appearing on BBC Radio Solent, BBC Online Showcase and XFM London.

"...And The Magical 8-Ball Band":

Four music-makers thrown together from the deep reaches of Poole, bonded by their love for rock music and magic...and apparently 8-balls. Upon discovering that they all played different instruments (this was favourable) and that they could actually play these instruments together as one kind of melody-producing harmonic unit,
forming a band seemed like a pretty nifty idea.
All they needed now was a really cool name. Alas, no plan is perfect...

‘…And The Magical 8-Ball Band’ pride themselves on their glitzy, ballsy, high-energy, and above-all fun live performances – combining pop punk, riff rock and general on-stage musical madness, these guys offer A SHOW NOT TO BE MISSED!!
