An extremely talented band who defined their music as confetti-rock would absolutely have my entire approval and attention. Adam Strangler from Montreal is one strong brand new act that will absolutely charm your ears of their catchy and effervescent rock and roll hymns. I strongly suggest you check out their debut EP on bandcamp where you could also find the track "Shallows" available for free download.
Here are some snapshots of their excellent show which took place April 6th at La Casa Del Poppolo. - Indecent Xposure
Here is about a band I discovered last Friday they were unbelivably playing their first gig all together. Adam Strangler literally rocked the house with their frienzied tunes as they set up a cracked-out rock and roll to the traditionally cosy Divan Orange. If you dig indie-rock bands an hard edge, you might have in with this local band; their energy and rocking tunes are just comparable the high art of established bands such Arctic Monkeys or The Kooks - not to mention that lead singer's has got one exquisite voice, slightly reminiscent of Alex Turner's. The band is about to hold a release party to lauch their debut EP Sweet Dust Friday March 16th @L'Esco, and they wlll also be playing April 6th @ La Sala Rossa; I sincerely can't wait to hear some more. - Indecent Xposure
