Biography

With one foot planted in the Kentucky hills where he grew up and the other on the New York City streets he calls home, singer/songwriter Adam Swiderski spins songs of love, loss and astrological phenomenon that tug at your emotions while tickling the part of your brain that appreciates a memorable melody. After playing for three years in the up-and-coming New York City rock band The Yesterdays, Adam returned to the acoustic guitar and rediscovered the combination of pop/rock sensibility and folk twang that was his first love. He is currently in the process of recording both a solo, acoustic EP and a full-band project, and can be seen playing shows in and around the New York area.

Set List

Sets currently average about 30 minutes to an hour right now. I have a pretty large collection of original material and am writing all the time, so there's always more coming. In terms of covers, I generally pull from the work of great singer/songwriters like Bob Dylan, Fenton Lawless, Paul Westerberg and Jeff Tweedy, although I've been known to pull an acoustic version of a 1980s New Wave classic out of my hat from time to time.
