Adam Vegys

Burning with creativity and passion Adam Vegys from Toronto, Canada (also known as Dj Spiritually Minded) has been producing electronic music for over 7 years. With every year passing he is refining his sound into something unique, professional and captivating. His Style in the past has ranged from Trip-hop to Drum and Bass with the odd house track. Slow and dreamy to hard and funky his music is enough to get you hooked forever!

Currently Adam is working on his second wave of tracks under his name Adam Vegys, which will be in the genre of breakbeat/electronica with some experimental hiphop. For years Adam has had a vision of creating a new sound, or new genre to show the extent of where electronic music can go. Adam has worked with Monica Schroeder on his track Crystal Sky from Divine Interpretation. Monica is one of Canada’s upcoming vocal talent and has been nominated for best outstanding pop recording 2007 by Western Canada Music Awards and she performs the lyrics written by Adam on the track. He has independently released 2 full length albums on iTunes and has written a series of Dj tracks for the dance floor under the alias “Spiritually Minded”. Local artist appearing on past works include R&B Gospel singer Steven Mulcare and Hip Hop artist Sean Prominent. Recently Adam has performed on the Radio with CFMU 93.3 Fm Hamilton and has also been recently interviewed on CHUO.FM Ottawa for his involvement in organizing alternative positive events for electronic music outside of bars and clubs. Adam has formed a team that run events every few months for this purpose called Sound Ministry based out of Toronto, Canada. It is just as much part of Adam’s vision to unify people into positive community that enjoy electronic music as it is for him to write cutting edge electronic music.

To date as mentioned earlier he is now producing professional Dj tracks soon to find a home on a label and is working on promoting his new untitled album under his name Adam Vegys. He Looks forward to releasing his creative passion by producing more music and getting a live show together for his new album.
