A-D-D

A-D-D went through many different musicians before finding their perfect mix. Their age ranges from 16-20 therefore allowing them to touch many different genres. They are told often that they are too pretty to be a rock band till they actually perform and take the crowd into their world. An example of this was when they performed at Mavericks in Ottawa, this was their first show outside of their hometown in Montreal. The 2 bands that played right before them were very heavy metal bands. They were really nervous at the song selecton of their set and so at the very last minute decided on changing it up to better please the type of crowd. In the end Gc(singer) allowed his natural stage presence to win over the crowd and this was one of the very first moments A-D-D's impending success was evident. They are very professional and talented and treat each and every fan with respect. After every show they each go around and thank everyone for coming, no matter how many there are. Their dynamic is also apparent with their vocal harmonies and guitar harmonies. They pride themselves on being able to deliver that much needed hook in each song that is usually missing in most songs. They make catchy songs with great lyrics written for the younger generation. Their influence is music as a whole. Gc and Anthony Festoso are both students in the Vanier music program as well as they all have taken music lesson for long periods of time. Gc's ability to sing many different styles offers the band a larger opportunity to expirement and facilitates their need to explore all genres while still allowing their sound to stay true to A-D-D. They just love to be on stage and connecting with an audience.
A-D-D has played at all the major venues in the Montreal area and has won many competitions as well as placing in the top 5 in the final for Emergenza. They have just finished working on new material and are ready to introduce their new songs to their fans.
