I want my music to be like an elevator to the 13th floor of a building filled with life's most poignant experiences.

I picked up the guitar when I was 8 years old. Jimi Hendrix and Beatles taught me how to play and sing. In high school I couldn't figure out if I wanted to be Robert Plant or Jimi Page more and I'm still deciding. The Mars Volta and Dream Theater showed me that being nuts and shredding was fun. John Frusciante let me know I didn't have to do it all the time.

I left for Barcelona with just an acoustic guitar and a voice. I wanted to learn flamenco but instead learned improvisation, and a little Spanish.

I've spent the last two years singing (and playing a little) with strawberryJAM. We were once a free-form jam band that learned how to structure songs a crowd can sing to and put on one hell of a show.

Now I reside in Austin, still play with strawberryJAM and ready to take on whatever music has to offer next.
