Bio

Addy's Corner want to change what you think a cover band can be.

“We grew up going to see the bands we cover, and those shows were loud and heavy and the crowd is moving and singing along,” says vocalist Brian Rowe. “You're part of a community, so you drop your inhibitions and become a part of the night, both in the audience and on the stage. I don't get the same feeling from cover bands. So with our band, we wanted to bring the experience of seeing all your favorite bands in the same night, and give the audience the same feeling of community and enthusiasm, to have a unique experience among cover bands.”

Based out of Chicago, Addy's Corner plays your favorite songs from your high school years. Focusing on alternative and pop punk from the 90's and 2000's, their shows promote maximum crowd participation and monumental sing-alongs for the entire night. There are no outfits, no gimmicks- just raw energy. The band derives their setlist from days spent listening to Chicago’s Q101, hearing artists like Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters played in heavy rotation, but also lesser known hits of the early 2000’s by Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, and Panic! At The Disco. The band also puts their own spin on some well known hits, such as their fist-pumping cover of Smash Mouth’s All Star.

Founded in 2015, the band has played all over Chicago, including headlining slots at House of Blues, The Original Mothers, and rounding out 2016 at Cubby Bear. They have also played Durty Nellies in Palatine, Blarney Island in Antioch, Adobe Gilas in Rosemont and Chicago, and Uptown Lounge in Chicago. The band can entertain crowds for a full night and also put on special event shows for any audience.

Addy’s Corner is looking ahead to 2017, where they plan to continue playing Chicago venues and branch out to bring their specific brand of rock covers to new audiences.
