Meet Jeff Thal...a New Yorker who brings his musical talents to Tampa, Florida. He writes songs, he plays the drums, he produces recordings, he has a vision...
On a mission to form a mainstream rock group that targets the mass population, he places ads online seeking out musicians. Then along comes Eddie Biss – guitarist, backing vocalist and hailing from New York as well. Could it be? Two former New York rockers, the same age, into the same music – yet whose paths never collided up in New York? Not even in rush-hour traffic? This was a musical match made in heaven. This was the foundation of A Deeper Down.
After a painstaking search for the ultimate frontman and bassist, they eventually filled the positions. Introducing Ian Lewis - powerful, yet soulful lead vocalist with in-your-face presence. Completing the team, welcome Paul Harms - talented, melodic bassist, ultimate team-player and all-around nice guy.
The group put together a CD containing an arsenal of hit songs, firing at you one after another. The result is a catchy, high energy yet versatile album that hits the commercial rock market.
Quickly expanding their fanbase through live performances and the internet, they begin their journey uphill. And though the climb may be very tiring and frustrating, the view is always best from the top.
