Angel Del Valle

Not much could be said about him. He's quiet, modest, a bit of a goofball at times. Even so, he may not seem it, but behind that exterior lies one hell of a determined enthusiast. Constantly burying himself under tons of audio production literature and what-nots, constantly wearing headphones listening to his ipod which makes you think it's permanently attached to him, he won't stop at nothing until all said and done, he finishes his projects. Then he'll come out from hiding and bask in the rays of the sun with relief. That, my friends, is Angel Del Valle.

It feels like forever since his first taste of electronic music. Always never having the amount of money necessary to purchase equipment, he decided to go to extreme lengths to help pursue his dream. Angel ultimately joined the United States Army. Upon completion of his training, he was finally able to purchase all the equipment needed to begin. From that point, many long nights of practice and reading audio production literature such as, "Computer Music" magazine, came forth.

Early influences came by such djs like, Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and later on when his taste in music matured; Sander Van Doorn, Marco V, DeadMau5, Mark Mendes and Ozgur Can. One could hear all his influences amongst his live sets and experience the more experimental selection in his recorded sets.

Having been given opportunities to perform at such venues and events such as (in no particular order) : Sheesha Lounge, Green Street Cafe, Anime Boston, Connecticon, Anime USA, Ohayocon, Beat Forge Productions-sponsored events, Angel has been ever grateful for the people who helped made that possible. Honorable mentions would go to Randy Chong (Anime Boston/Connecticon dance event coordinator/manager), Nick Amento (Anime Boston main events coordinator), Leonardo Campus ( Beat Forge Productions promoter/event organizer), Alex Straffin ( Bombcast.org monthly podcasts), Robert Gerardi (promoter), and Greg Ayres (voice actor/dj/Ohayocon dance event coordinator/manager). These are the people who had the most impact and help define what he is now.

Angel strives to do the best he could, all while constantly learning as much as he could gather. With such tenacity, he then started on production, feeling that he would receive much growth as an artist and dj. After going through DAWs such as Reason, Ableton Live, Sonar, and Nuendo, it isn't until he tried Logic that he really felt at home. Currently working on projects, he has hopes that some time soon he would be given the privilege of having his work released.
