Bio
The Adept sound refers to Liars, Animal Collective, Thom Yorke, The Knife, New Order and Suicide. Yet they are unlike anything you have heard before. Heavypumping beats with restrained, sensual vocals and loud noise eruptions. Adept, based in Groningen, the Netherlands, is a unique band with great international potential. Live they consist of two synths, a drum computer, noise guitar, cymbals and vocals. In February 2007 their debut was released on WHAM! WHAM! records. The record was well received in the Netherlands, and the band performed on the Dutch EuroSonic festival.
